Faith Life

Communion

Holy Communion is one of two sacraments in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In Holy Communion, God’s Word and promises are connected to bread and wine. At the Table of God, Christ comes with forgiveness, life, and salvation, sending us out to share the good news and to care for those in need.

We celebrate Holy Communion during every Sunday during in-person worship and every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. If you are live streaming at home on Sunday, please prepare the elements for communion at your home before worship. Simply gather some bread or crackers to be served as the body of Christ. Grape juice, wine, or water can be used for the blood of Christ. The Pastors will preside at communion. As you worship online the pastors will instruct you at the point at which you take communion so that we all commune at the same time.
